Hey y'all!

I’m Rae, a Houston-born wife, mom, and purpose-driven entrepreneur.

My journey took a major turn in 2015 when I felt called to work for God full-time. I had prayed for a way to support people on their purpose journeys, and He answered. Leaving a job I loved wasn’t easy. I adored my coworkers, and my boss was incredible (shoutout to Chris!). But I trusted God's plan and submitted an open-ended resignation, giving them time to find and train my replacement. Three months later, I took the leap.

Not sure where to start, I told God I needed an internship. Soon enough, I found Esther Inman's “Virtual Assistant Internship” program. Esther saw that my background in audio engineering was the perfect fit for my first client, Carrie Olsen—a voiceover rockstar. My client list grew, and my role evolved from virtual assistant to online business manager, operations specialist, and ultimately, people ops professional. Today, I own multiple businesses and serve as the People Ops and Programming Director at Sesh Coworking.

Along the way, I learned some hard truths. Trying to "find my purpose" almost cost me my life in a thyroid storm—a wake-up call that living purposefully demands sustainability. I realized that our purpose doesn’t have to be complicated; mine was right in front of me: helping others find their own. That storm taught me that living in haste only brings stress and confusion, making us miss life’s little moments. Without that experience, I wouldn’t have learned that building a life sustainably is just as important as living with purpose.

While I love helping Purpose Walkers build sustainable lifestyles, I’m also passionate about dismantling the "master-slave" culture in the U.S. workforce and advocating for autism and neurodivergent support. At home, I teach my daughter about entrepreneurship and guide my kids in their own ventures. Family is my world, which includes my husband, four kids, and our pets: Gunther the lizard, Charlie the dog, and Midnight the cat. Music keeps me grounded, whether I’m connecting with God, navigating challenges, or celebrating blessings.

Now, I’m here to share what I’ve learned. Through consulting, my podcast, and building a community with my sister called The FAM, I walk alongside Purpose Walkers toward balance and success. Because in the end, it’s our stories that live on, and being part of someone’s journey is an honor I hold close.

Thank you for reading my story so far. And thank you for considering me to be a part of yours.

TTFN,
Rae
